Listings are based on a business or service type, i.e. if you're looking for a car mechanic and a car mechanic has a Webpages or Freepages account, try looking under 'C'. For a graphic designer look under 'G', a Jeweller 'J' etc.

Webpages and Freepages

Webpages and Freepages are NEW packages on lewesonline.

They are part of lewesonline and can be used as dedicated websites, online adverts, pointers to your main website or anything else you care to think of (subject to terms and conditions).

Web standards

Both types of accounts meet W3C standards for the following in their basic setup:

• Five webpages and a photo gallery
• Choice of 18 colour schemes
• Choice of 7 lewesonline mastheads
• 19 extra mastheads provided for free for you to customise
  - a new design will be added each month
• 5mb disk space and 100mb bandwidth per month
• Easy to use CMS (Content Management System)
• A simple guide which you can print and refer to

Flexibility

As you can see from the 'live' examples above, the flexibility in colour and design is quite extensive and can be customised if required.

18 colour schemes and 7 masthead designs are built in to each package but you can add your own masthead image if you want to. Full instructions are given.

I have also released an extra 19 free masthead designs which you can use on your pages. I plan to realese at least 1 a month from now on. All this is free for members!

Who can have one?

Only lewesonline members* can have Webpages and Freepages. Membership is free to everyone.

Apart from that both packages are available to any business, service, club, society or organisation in and around Lewes. This includes but is not exclusive to:

• Chailey
• Burgess Hill
• Ringmer
• Ditchling
• etc etc - as you can see it's pretty well open to all!

*Unfortunately Freepages accounts are not available for personal use just yet.

Cost - the (not so) big question!

Webpages cost = £40.00 +vat annually- buy online or contact me

Frepages cost = £FREE

The main difference is that Freepages carry some advertising. Please see the examples to see examples.
